Manuel Naya CPA LLC is a full-service CPA Firm. We take our time to understand our client’s business and their unique accounting and tax scenarios. We offer consulting, audit, and tax preparation services. In addition, we offer a variety of accounting services for both businesses and individuals. We realize that this is not a one size fits all world and we tailor services to deliver a personalized and exceptional customer service experience. We work closely with our clients to help them find their path to success.
Our Team
Manuel Naya Jr, CPA (Manny)
Manny moved from Miami to Central Florida in 2003. Manny attended the University of Central Florida’s College of Business. After receiving his degree in 2005, he began his career in public accounting. Manny pursued his fifth-year requirements for the CPA through Liberty University where he obtained a Master of Accounting degree. Manny is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and began his career at a national public accounting firm in the U.S., serving both private and public clients in a wide array of services including contracted CFO and consulting help as well as financial statement audit and review services in the real estate, not-for-profit, professional services and manufacturing industries.
He later went on to work in private industry for an investment services company managing publicly non-traded real estate investment trusts subject to securities and exchange commission (SEC) filings, there Manny was part of the management team establishing effective and efficient solutions to operational and financial processes in compliance with the SEC regulations.
Through these experiences, Manny developed a strong foundation of accounting principles and operational strategies which he has transitioned into his practice and clients. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He is also involved at his local church finance committee and services the community in various opportunities. Manny works closely with his clients to help them find their path to success.
Patricia Mace, CPA, CFE
Patricia began her accounting career in 1998 after passing the CPA exam. For the next seven years, she prepared taxes and worked on audit engagements for professional associations, hospitals, schools, casinos, insurance companies, governments and non-profit organizations. This position provided valuable insight into how businesses organize, plan, analyze, comply, report and grow.
In 2003, she studied for and received a Certified Fraud Examiner license and found fraud work truly rewarding. In 2006, she moved to Washington DC to provide oversight for a $2 billion contract that developed and manufactured the FAA’s air traffic control system. This was an exciting position in a fast-paced environment that was close to her heart because building airplanes was what her father, brother, and father-in law did.
In 2016, she decided to move back to her roots in Central Florida. With referrals from friends and family, she saw an opportunity to open an accounting firm. Her firm strived to serve individuals and small businesses in areas that were often overlooked due to size and resources.
In 2021 she joined Manuel Naya Jr., CPA, LLC, and we are excited for what the future brings.
Jessica Orjuela
Jessica joined Manuel Naya Jr. CPA LLC in 2022. Jessica has over ten years of accounting experience including experience at KPMG in Venezuela. She has an expertise in the audit and financial statement areas specializing in transfer pricing, finance, and budgeting in a variety of companies in manufacturing and services industry. Born and raised in Venezuela she is also fluent in Spanish.
Alexandra Goodpasture
Alexandra Goodpasture joined Manuel Naya Jr. CPA LLC in 2022. Alexandra is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Central Florida. While pursing higher level education, she is acquiring an in-depth knowledge of public accounting, tax, and auditing. While gainfully employed, she has been successful at working with a team of accountants on group projects for a variety of clients, meeting tight deadlines, and assisting clients during tax season. Alexandra is an optimistic Associate Staff Accountant who envisions a bright future full of opportunities and success. We are looking forward to Alexandra’s growth and future graduation!
